Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the field of early childhood education. As an Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment, working closely with children and contributing to their development and well-being.
Duties
* Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote children's learning and development.
* Support the daily care routines of children, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
* Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to senior staff as necessary.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating nursery environment.
* Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
* Help manage behaviour in accordance with nursery policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* A genuine interest in working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality childcare.
* Previous experience with children or nursery experience is advantageous but not essential.
* Understanding of early childhood education principles is preferred.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and management skills when required.
* A valid driving licence is beneficial for potential transport needs related to nursery activities.
