Catalina Spas Ltd is one of the UK's longest-established suppliers of hot tubs and swim spas. Since 1997, we've been delivering award-winning products, bespoke solutions, and outstanding service to both residential and commercial customers. As we expand our B2B presence, we're seeking a technically minded sales professional who's just as comfortable building relationships as they are assisting with installations and deliveries.
This is a varied role in a small, close-knit team where flexibility and a "hands-on" approach are key.
The Role
Your main focus will be growing B2B sales — including building relationships with retailers, holiday parks, and developers — while also supporting B2C enquiries. You'll manage the sales process from enquiry through to order fulfilment and follow-up, as well as provide technical help during installs, deliveries, and aftersales.
Being part of a small business means you'll also assist with other tasks, from handling customer service admin to helping with container unloads.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
* Proactively identify and approach new B2B prospects to grow our trade network.
* Visit trade partners across the UK for relationship building, training, and sales presentations.
* Handle B2B and occasional B2C enquiries, prepare quotes, raise customer orders on our system, and process them through to delivery.
* Follow up on sales leads to ensure strong conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
* Maintain an in-depth understanding of product features, specifications, and compliance requirements.
Technical & Installation Support
* Assist with hot tub and swim spa installations, including on-site assembly, testing, and customer handovers.
* Support delivery operations, ensuring products are handled safely and set up correctly.
* Provide basic fault-finding and technical support to customers where needed.
* Conduct product demonstrations and explain operational features to clients.
Customer Service & Admin
* Respond to customer queries via phone, email, and in person.
* Maintain accurate records and update customer files.
* Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth order processing.
* Assist with general office administration when required.
Team Support
* Help with stock intake, including unloading shipping containers when needed.
What We're Looking For
Skills & Experience:
* Proven sales experience, ideally with B2B clients.
* Technical/practical skills – comfortable with tools, installations, and product handling.
* Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
* Organised, with experience in processing orders and managing sales follow-up.
* Full UK driving licence essential.
* Comfortable with regular manual handling as part of deliveries and installations.
Bonus if you have:
* Experience in hot tubs, leisure, or home improvement sectors.
* Basic electrical knowledge.
* Forklift licence (not essential).
