Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker To join Clackmannanshire Council's Mental Health Service as a MHO. This is a full time role offering a fantastic competitive pay rate.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake independent assessments and fulfill statutory duties under the Mental Health (Care & Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003.
• Provide or withhold consent for Emergency and Short-Term Detentions; prepare and present applications for Compulsory Treatment Orders (CTOs).
• Investigate and compile comprehensive social circumstances reports for the Sheriff Court regarding Guardianship and Intervention Orders.
• Lead inquiries and investigations under the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007.
• Actively participate in the daytime MHO duty rota to respond to urgent community referrals and crisis situations.
• Manage a complex, designated caseload of individuals experiencing severe mental health difficulties or navigating the forensic system.
• Prepare detailed reports and provide expert testimony at Mental Health Tribunals and court hearings.
• Work closely with NHS health professionals, legal bodies, the Mental Welfare Commission, and independent advocacy services.

Requirements:

• PVG
• SSSC registration
• Social Work Degree
