Ready to join us?#LI-EJ1 #LI-HybridThis is the jobAs our Internal Communications Manager, you’ll be at the heart of how we engage our Road Operations team, helping to shape and deliver the internal communications strategy, with a focus on our frontline colleagues. You’ll work closely with leaders to ensure our people are informed, inspired, and engaged on our business priorities.This is a strategic and operational role, where you’ll lead storytelling, comms planning and delivery, and measurement, bringing our vision to life across a diverse and mobile workforce.What will I be doing?Owning the development and delivery of internal communications plans aligned to AA’s strategic goalsAdvising stakeholders and leadership teams on communication best practicesTranslating business priorities into compelling narratives for frontline colleaguesPlanning and delivering high-impact campaigns and events (e.g. AA Awards, roadshows, leadership events)Measuring communication effectiveness and identifying opportunities to improve engagementCollaborating with wider teams to ensure consistency and alignmentWhat do I need?Experience in delivering communications for large, dispersed teamsPassion for connecting people to purpose and driving cultural alignment, with strong understanding of audience segmentation and channel strategyProven experience in strategic internal communications, ideally in operational, retail, or field-based environmentsStrong stakeholder management skills, including experience advising senior leadersExcellent copywriting and storytelling ability, with a focus on clarity and impactAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience engaging remote and frontline colleaguesProficiency with tools like Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Viva Engage, Poppulo, and StreamAdditional informationWe’re always looking to recognise and reward our employees for the work they do.
