Responsibilities
* Inspire, mentor, and cultivate a team of top-tier engineering professionals. Master scheduling, assign impactful tasks, champion cross‑training, and drive a culture of continuous improvement through robust performance evaluations and strategic recruitment.
* Take full ownership of facility operations and maintenance, ensuring every vital system – from fire/life safety and plumbing to HVAC and electrical – operates flawlessly. Shape capital budgets and continually refine preventive maintenance programmes.
* Serve as the central nexus for collaboration, coordinating with external contractors, tenant representatives, and internal teams. Cultivate pivotal relationships with clients, owners and vendors, cementing CBRE’s reputation for exceptional service.
* Proactively dissect and conquer intricate technical challenges, staying ahead of emerging technology trends. Secure new management contracts and expand footprint.
* Respond with agility and precision to emergency situations and evolving customer needs, demonstrating calm under pressure and swift problem‑solving.
* Lead by example, embodying CBRE’s RISE values in every interaction, influencing stakeholders and aligning diverse interests toward shared success.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 3‑5 years of direct, relevant experience showcasing engineering and leadership capabilities.
* Demonstrated experience in staffing, selection, comprehensive training, dedicated coaching, transformative mentoring and effective performance management and retention strategies.
* Exceptional ability to distill complex information, articulate performance expectations clearly and navigate challenging conversations to achieve positive outcomes.
* Ability to motivate, energise and guide a team, significantly boosting quality, efficiency and overall effectiveness within your discipline and department.
