Position: Senior Operational Support Analyst

What you’ll do:
As part of the Operations Support function to provide full operational analytical support to the Executive board, Senior Management Team, and the wider network, to develop, review and extend the current reporting portfolio and to work on operations projects as required.
Key Role Responsibilities:
* Applying analytical skills to analyse data, interpret results and presenting findings in tables, charts and diagrams.
* To Maintain the current reporting portfolio of operations reports
* To support the Operations Support Reporting team with the creation/revision of new requirements
* To compile monthly reports for the Executive Board and Finance
* To create, develop and maintain a dashboard for the SMT
* To identify, investigate and explain variances from targets
* To complete full analysis on network performance to be able to supply both data and support to resolve issues.
* Working closely with the IT to contribute to the development of future reporting requirements
* Liaison with Regional, Site and Operations managers to assist in understanding of reports and to provide ad-hoc support as required
* To carry out any other duties that may be reasonably required in the context of the role as requested by the Operations and MI Service Provider Manager.
* Understand the route planning process to be able to complete a review as determined by Operations senior management team, presenting proposals using Geoplan Route Review software
* Liaise with Geoplan for quarterly updates and ad-hoc projects as they arise

What We’re Looking For
* A broad understanding and competence in the multi-disciplined processes that make up Parcel Operations.
* Proven experience in obtaining data and producing reports.
* Proven experience of creating and developing reports.
* Proven experience of interpreting data and providing an overview of the results
* A keen eye for detail and accuracy with a results driven approach
* Proficient in MS Office / Power BI
