We're working with a fantastic school that is looking for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team and support pupils who need consistency, patience, and care to reach their full potential.
Your Role Will Include:
Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs
Supporting emotional regulation, behaviour management, and engagement
Building positive, trusting relationships with students
Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams to create inclusive learning environments
Helping students build confidence, resilience, and life skills
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, challenging behaviour or additional needs (Essential)
A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach
Strong behaviour management skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
Team player with great communication skills
