Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
* Ensure compliance with security best practices, IAM policies, and regulatory standards.
* Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
* Collaborate with development and operations teams to support cloud-native applications.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on AWS best practices.
* Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools.
* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Pipeline, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
* Collaborate with the AWS Cloud Network Architect to support / validate the LLD
* Provision all AWS infrastructure as defined in the LLDs:
* AWS Accounts, VPCs, subnets, route tables, SGs, NACLs.
* Amazon EKS cluster for Solace
* Deployment of Solace onto the EKS cluster.
* Amazon EC2 instances for AVEVA PI across tiers.
* Configure all AWS network connectivity components (TGW, etc.) in line with the design.
* Perform connectivity testing to the integration endpoints.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 5 years focused on AWS.
* Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, TransitGw etc.).
* Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS).
* Hands-on experience with Autoscaling, Load Balancer, Route53, ElascticBeanstalk.
* Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
