An exciting opportunity has come up for a womenswear shape designer to join a retailer based in London. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to move from supply-side into a head office too. As a shape designer you will be responsible for designing womenswear multi-product apparel across woven and jersey. You will do trend and market research, looking at shapes, print techniques and fabrications. Work closely with product developers until final garment is completed. Produce digital technical packs, and work closely with international suppliers. To be successful in this role you will have commercial high street portfolio, and previous design experience. You will have a good understanding of shape and prints, as well as general fabric knowledge. This is a great opportunity to join a retailer going through growth.
