Overview
We're working with an established and growing engineering-led manufacturing business looking to bring in an Electronics Project Engineer to support new and existing product development. This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of projects from initial concept through to production, working closely with both internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead electronics development projects from specification through to final release
* Collaborate with design and manufacturing partners, ensuring clear communication of technical requirements
* Provide regular project updates and communicate progress to key stakeholders
* Support the setup, maintenance, and improvement of test equipment including jigs and fixtures
* Test and validate electronic products to ensure performance and reliability
* Carry out fault finding and root cause analysis using appropriate tools and techniques
* Research and evaluate new components and technologies for future development
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation
Skills & Experience
* Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar (or equivalent experience)
* Experience working in an electronics or manufacturing environment
* Project management skills with the ability to manage stakeholders
* Experience with PCB design and testing is highly desirable
* Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
