Here at GXO, we are recruiting for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our Iceland team at our chilled and frozen site in Swindon.As a Warehouse First Line Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring and driving efficient operational performance, whilst maintaining strong communications with the on-site management team.
This is a full time, 12 month fixed term contract, working an any 5 from 7 rotating shift pattern of, 07:00 till 15:00 and 15:00 till 23:00.

What youll do on a typical day:
Lead a team of colleagues to operational success in our temperature-controlled warehouse
Set daily and weekly KPIs and ensure that these are always being met and exceeded
Maximise productivity and improve quality in order to grow your team
Lead HR requirements in relation to investigation, disciplinary, grievance and absence management
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Proven experience in managing an operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment (ideally a grocery operation)
The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills
Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement
