Assistant Site Manager
We are recruiting two Assistant Site Managers in Inverness, primarily based in or around the Inverness area with opportunities to travel across multiple sites/projects in the region.
Responsibilities
* Direct the necessary labour, plant, staff and equipment to achieve plot and project completion on time, to specification and within budget.
* Monitor that the Buying team and Surveying department order the correct materials and sub‑contract services in good time to meet contract obligations.
* Manage site teams by monitoring performance against contract targets and instigating any necessary corrective actions.
* Ensure compliance with Group Safety Policy and Health and Safety Regulations.
* Ensure staff and operatives are managed and led effectively by developing the skills and attitudes of managers, resulting in a working environment that engenders high morale.
Qualifications
* Experience of working within the construction industry.
* Positive contribution to behavioural safety initiatives.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Present a clean and tidy site and have a good knowledge of the Considerate Contractor’s requirements to achieve high scores.
