You will be required to carry out a number of designated tasks within the Endoscopy Department, which will involve direct care in support and under the supervision of a registered nurse.
* You will work as an effective member of the team
* Following appropriate training and assessment, undertake clinical and non-clinical duties in support of the registered nurse.
* Support patient preparation, admission, and post‑procedure care.
* Assist during procedures (e.g., positioning patients, handling equipment).
* Carry out cleaning and safe equipment turnover.
* Maintain stock levels and ensure clinical rooms are set up correctly.
* Provide reassurance and basic care to patients throughout their visit.
* Help keep the department running smoothly by supporting flow and assisting the nursing team.
