A welcoming and supportive secondary school in Dudley is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people in their education. Whether you have previous school-based experience or are looking to take your first step into education, the school is keen to hear from motivated and committed individuals.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and students, providing classroom support and helping pupils to achieve their full potential.

The Role

• Supporting students in lessons across a range of subjects
• Working with small groups and on a one-to-one basis where required
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and preparation
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
• Helping to create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
• Be patient, approachable and supportive
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Be reliable, flexible and willing to get involved in school life

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
