Overview
Performance and Continuous Improvement Lead role at Amey. This is a permanent position based ideally in Donnington, Catterick, York or East Midlands Area. Hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday. The role requires travel to operational locations (minimum of 3 days on site as required). Driving license is essential.
Responsibilities
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives and coaching across the contract, working with front-line teams, supply chains and National Accommodation Management Service (NAMS) representatives.
* Coordinate and manage data-driven improvement efforts; collect and analyse complex data from diverse sources to provide insights that support innovation and risk awareness for informed decision making by Amey and the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO).
* Identify trends within data sets and produce accurate reports to target improvements; previous experience with A3 problem solving is advantageous.
* Drive and manage a varied workload with tight deadlines.
* Lead CI projects using Lean, Six Sigma and project management methodologies to achieve goals and improvement outcomes.
* Challenge established processes to eliminate waste and share best practices with fellow P&CI coaches to foster a culture of improvement.
* Embed CI within operations to identify cost-saving and performance-enhancing initiatives following Lean principles.
* Actively coach and mentor within RAMS to leverage a CI culture.
What You Will Bring
* Experience in data analysis, identifying trends and drawing actionable insights.
* Facilitating Lean/change management workshops with a variety of stakeholders.
* Ability to drive change in an operational environment and experience in B2B and B2C customer-focused environments.
* Ability to work from site a minimum of three days per week.
* Desirable: previous experience as a Coach and Mentor.
* Desirable: ILM Level Three Award in Coaching and Mentoring or equivalent experience.
* Desirable: Lean Six Sigma or equivalent qualification supported by operational experience.
