Minibus Driver
We are looking for a Minibus Driver to operate one of our regular school bus routes, both morning and evening during term time. This important role involves:
•Collecting the school minibus from Wellingborough School.
•Picking up and dropping off pupils at pre-defined bus stops.
•Maintaining an accurate register of all passengers and reporting this to the Transport Supervisor.
•Ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and security of all children during boarding, travel, and drop-off, and reporting any concerns appropriately.
•Acting as a positive representative of the School when interacting with parents and students.
•Undertaking MIDAS training (if not already completed).
•Keeping the minibus clean, tidy, and in good condition.
•Performing basic safety checks before each journey to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
You may also be required to drive the minibus for occasional school trips or sports fixtures.

Contract type: Permanent, Part Time, Term Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, mornings 7.00am – 8.30am and afternoons 5pm to 6.45pm; 16.25 hours per week
Salary: £12.57 p/h*
Reporting to: Transport Supervisor
Disclosure level: Enhanced
* if applicant has undertaken MIDAS training, rate per hour will be increased.
