Job Role: Support Worker/Healthcare Assistant
The Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will be expected to help and assist the team with day-to-day routines including personal care and feeding.
The Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers must have at least 6 months experience in care and be compassionate.
Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers will help with daily care tasks and are vital members of teams in hospitals, homes, and clinics.

Previous experience and qualifications in care are essential.
As a Healthcare Assistant and Support Worker, you will work under supervision of nursing staff and alongside other healthcare assistants.
Your duties may include:
* Helping patients with washing, showering, or dressing
* Serving food or assisting with eating
* Making and changing beds
* Turning patients to prevent pressure sores
* Talking to patients to reduce anxiety
* Assisting patients with mobility
* Managing bedpans and helping patients to toilet
* Maintaining cleanliness of wards or homes
* Managing supplies and equipment
Your work may involve using mobility aids and escorting patients between departments. With experience, you may participate in induction training for new healthcare assistants.
