Job Description
Are you a relationship-driven sales professional with a passion for education and a deep understanding of public sector partnerships? ParentPay Group is looking for a Territory Partnership Manager to lead our commercial strategy and customer success across Wales, focusing on Local Authorities and schools. In this high-impact, quota-carrying role, you’ll be the trusted face of our business in the region—building strategic relationships, securing long-term contracts, and driving adoption of our market-leading EdTech solutions.
You’ll collaborate with stakeholders at every level, from Local Authorities and school leaders to the Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) and Digital Advisory Group, aligning our offerings with education policy and digital priorities. As a vital bridge between the market and our internal teams, you’ll provide insights to shape future product developments tailored for Wales. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the Welsh education sector and to shape the future of EdTech in Wales.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and manage relationships across 22 Welsh Local Authorities and their school networks.
* Drive commercial outcomes including contract renewals, upselling, retention, and customer satisfaction.
* Plan and execute territory strategies, managing sales pipelines and forecasting.
* Engage with key stakeholders and influencers, including WLGA and Digital Advisory Group.
* Manage pre-tender influence, competitive tendering processes, and secure contracts.
* Represent the Welsh customer internally, informing teams on regional needs and legislation.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value.
* Prepare and present business cases, pitches, and performance updates to C-suite executives.
* Monitor customer sentiment and address issues proactively to maintain low churn rates.
* Utilize CRM tools and customer insights to improve campaigns and strategies.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Proven experience in strategic sales, account management, or business development, ideally within EdTech or the public sector.
* Fluent Welsh speaker.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior levels.
* Strong understanding of the Welsh education landscape, policies, and procurement processes.
* Effective communicator with excellent presentation and consultative selling skills.
* Experience managing complex sales cycles and revenue forecasting.
* Ability to interpret and respond to legislation and policy changes.
* Skilled in cross-functional collaboration for customer success.
* Tech-savvy with CRM experience and data-driven decision-making skills.
* Proficient in managing contracts and procurement processes.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about making an impact.
