The role
The HSE Safety Advisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, and for implementing policies to manage risks and hazards. They work with various teams to integrate safety considerations into all activities.
Day to day, You’ll:
* Ensure Babcock operates safely, healthily, and environmentally responsibly.
* Manage risks, implement policies, conduct training, and investigations to protect employees, the public, and the environment, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, based mainly at Hinkley Point with some travel to other Cavendish sites.
Essential experience of the HSE Safety Advisor:
* Experience as a HSE Advisor in a highly regulated environment.
* Experience with Nuclear is advantageous but not essential.
* Extensive stakeholder interaction experience.
* Recognized by an industry/professional body.
