The Role
As a Project Services Coordinator, you will be the glue behind the Finance and Project communities for QinetiQ, servicing the PMO function with accurate data, while reporting to Finance on key Project milestones.
Day-to-day, you’ll provide management and governance of the Project Lifecycle in SAP (ECC) delivering planned or requested activities which will depend on the requirements of the individual task to effectively deliver high quality services to our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
* To be competent in processing the setting of projects in finance system (e.g setting up Work Breakdown Structure “WBS”, Milestones and Services Contracts) and proficient to interpret and query information and ensure align with customer Purchase Orders
* To apply data integrity to ensure that all project setup and amendments, billing milestone creations and project closures follow process and are timely and accurate
* To support Internal and External audit requests
* To liaise with the relevant business stakeholders to ensure customer billing solution requirements can be delivered including identifying manual and automated Billing
Essential experience of the Project Services Coordinator:
* Communication and Collaboration is key
* Continuous Improvement background
* Resolution and escalation of queries
* 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
* SAP or Oracle exposure
Essential qualifications for the Project Services Coordinator:
* Degree educated – Business Management/Accounting

This role is 37 hours per week based at Farnborough. Hybrid working patterns are available, and there is an expectation that you will be onsite 3 days per week.
