The role: This role is responsible for creating thought leadership content, feeding off insight and requirements provided by the business and wider industry. You will be responsible for the investment specific content within a wider ideation engine that generates owned media thought leadership, educational materials, and topical news articles.
What you'll be doing: Develop and maintain high quality, engaging investment content across multiple channels, including corporate and Partner websites, client communications, and the flagship Investor Magazine.
Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to create insightful macroeconomic, market, and asset allocation narratives.
Edit and refine investment content from various sources to ensure consistency, clarity, and compliance.
Lead the messaging and sign off process, ensuring materials are aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Monitor content performance and continuously optimise messaging for maximum impact.
Represent the Investment Division's brand and communications strategy in collaboration with PR and internal teams.
Who we're looking for: An experienced investment writer or content strategist with a deep understanding of financial markets and retail investments. The ideal candidate will have excellent editorial skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to simplify complex investment concepts for a broad audience. You will be confident working with multiple stakeholders, balancing priorities, and producing high quality content under tight deadlines.
Essential Criteria Strong experience in investment writing, journalism, or content strategy, ideally within financial services and across multiple formats.
Strong knowledge of investment markets, economic trends, and the retail investment sector.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with a focus on clarity and engagement.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work collaboratively across teams.
Highly organised, deadline driven, and adaptable to changing priorities.
Desirable Criteria Experience in writing, portfolio management, investment research, or financial advisory roles.
Familiarity with content production and distribution strategies within financial services.
Knowledge of best practices in investment communication for advisers and clients.
Experience working with compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment in content.
Special Requirements: The role will require at least 2 days in either the Cirencester or London Offices and may require occasional visits to other locations - to attend meetings, conferences, and events.
