Your Role
As a SEN Class Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to meet the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
* Supporting the class team in facilitating engaging learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
* Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress, collaborating with staff to ensure their needs are met.
* Supervising pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
* Building positive relationships with pupils to drive interaction and achieve positive learning outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Possess a strong educational background, ideally to degree level.
* Have previous successful teaching experience.
* Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
* Proficient in behavior management techniques.
* Committed to ongoing professional development and eager to learn.
* Willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.
