Currently, undertaking an exciting commercial development in Southwark, they are actively recruiting a Document Controller. This role will be on a permanent full-time basis. Document Controller Responsibilities: Administer, action and monitor the project quality control plan in coordination with the Project Manager, Project Engineers and Clients requirements. Create, update, and maintain various trackers regarding project status and all other project specific quality control reports. Maintain continuous presence at the site during progress of the work. Booking Site Induction for operatives and visitors. Prepare Daily Briefings. Booking site material deliveries on the system database. Signing off delivery tickets and invoices. Updating daily site trackers. Maintaining health and safety files accordingly. Supporting site team with necessary aid (preparing signage, schedules, trackers, etc.) Provide written QC reports that reinforce activities that are being constructed in conformance with each specific project's established standard and constructively confronts non-conformances to produce the desired outcome in a timely manner. Verify and document that all materials received for the project are in conformance with the approved submittal, are handled appropriately and are acceptable for use in the project. Document and distribute QA punch lists and the completion of these lists. Document final inspections, certificates of occupancy and acceptance of the works and various phases. Assisting individuals on site in respect of QA procedures that were set up and are to be followed, monitoring their work and bring up the standards where necessary. Maintain continuous reporting to QA Manager and Project Manager Assist with relevant Project needs where necessary. Key Requirements: 3 years experience working in a Document Controller position or site administration with document control responsibilities. Knowledge of Asite and Aconex software and Microsoft Office packages. Previous construction experience is beneficial but candidates from other industries will not be discounted.
