Asset Management (Lettings)
Job Role
Working alongside a team of currently seven people, this position is a key role within the lettings team.
The role entails looking after our managed portfolio, taking care of the properties, landlords and tenants from the very first step of marketing the property all the way through their journey with Fowler & Powell. You will be trained to present our services to a new landlord and to leverage further business from our current landlords in order to build your earnings with uncapped commission potential. We are looking only for enthusiastic people with exciting positive energy to bring to the team and the business' long-term goals to grow year on year.
Daily duties include:
● Booking and carrying out viewings
● Processing Applications
● Carrying out property inspections
● Handing over properties to new tenants
● Discussing our services with potential new landlords
● Helping current landlords to improve their portfolio depending on their needs i.e. buying
more, selling off some, upgrading the existing properties, refinancing
● Managing property repairs by liaising with tenant, landlord and contractor to agree works,
quotes and timescales
● Organising tenancy renewals and rent reviews
Package
Salary
£25,000 - £28,000 per annum reviewed annually as pay increases will be rewarded with portfolio
growth
Commission – generous % of the net profit from a new property letting fee (example of £294 profit on an average £880pcm property) We would expect 2 - 3 new properties a month is achievable once settled into the role and au fait with the service on offer to landlords.
