Role/Job Title: PSA Engineer - DTS
Work Location: Edinburgh / Remote
The RoleYour Responsibilities:
* Requirement gathering, Epics, and User stories.
* Administer and optimize the Energy Management System (EMS) through application configuration, tuning, and security patching, preferably on GE PowerOn Reliance (XA21) and/or AEMS Platform Software, as well as EMS platforms from Siemens, OSI, ABB, Schneider, etc.
* Simulated RTU, Simulated IED, Console.
* ICCP, IEC, DNP3, Modbus, Data Modeling, XML/JSON.
* Proficient in both Linux and Windows operating environments.
* Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
* Over 5 years of experience in power system applications, including Power Flow, State Estimator, Contingency Analysis, Load Frequency Control (AGC), Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) with expertise in model validation and event creation.
* Experience in programming languages for system integration or scripting such as C, C++, PERL, or similar, along with SQL & Shell scripting and ability to read, interpret logs, and debug files.
* Experience in picking up and installing fixes on live customer systems.
* Model validation and defect fixing for DTS system.
* Perform necessary technical corrective actions to restore failed or failing technical services on EMS systems.
* Conduct code review, deployment, testing, and monitoring of break/fix patches and modifications.

* Electrical transmission modeling, EMS Application Engineer, PowerOn Reliance / XA21, GE eTerra Platform, Power System Applications, DTS, Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS).
* Hands-on experience with Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) for EMS.
* Experience implementing Power System Applications such as Power Flow, State Estimator, Contingency Analysis, Load Forecasting.
* Enhancement and defect-fixing experience in EMS, ADMS, SCADA.
* Experience working on Linux OS and databases to manage EMS environments.
* Comfortable with scripting or database queries for troubleshooting or configuration.
* Experience using Qtest, Grip tools.
