We are actively seeking a Commis Chef for the Banqueting Kitchen. Working as part of a brigade, your main duties will be to assist the Chef de Partie and Head Chef in the preparation and service of food, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times. You will also ensure that the designated kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are always kept clean and tidy to the standards required by the property.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting the Chef de Partie in the smooth, safe, and efficient running of kitchen operations, including food services and functions throughout the day.
* Understanding relevant laws and legislation related to food handling, storage, hygiene, and health and safety.
* Following all recipe guidelines and standards set by senior chefs.
* Contributing to the development of innovative menu designs for relevant functions and food services.
* Monitoring and controlling the quality of commodities used in food production.
* Being flexible and accommodating in providing catering services for Spa members and guests.
