A fantastic maternity cover opportunity has become available with a warm and welcoming family in Marlow. They are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive nanny to help run their busy, well organised home as part of the family team.
This full-time role, starting in August will be for 12 months initially, with the potential to extend should the current nanny not return.
The family have four children. You would predominantly be caring for the younger children (boys age 3 and 5) with light oversight of the older two (boy aged 14 and girl aged 12).
The parents value a balanced, stimulating environment that supports their children’s development. They’re looking for a nanny who can offer a variety of engaging indoor activities combined with plenty of outdoor time and trips out. Encouraging socialisation through playdates and local groups is also important.
The family home is a modern four-bedroom house with a lovely garden.
Duties will include:
• General care of the children and organising activities for the younger boys (5 year old at school during term time).
• Dropping off and picking up 5 year old from school (5-10 minute walk from home) and making sure he has everything he needs each day.
• Helping 5 year old with homework.
• Maintaining clean, tidy and organised children’s areas (older children clean their own rooms / change beds with some guidance).
• Helping to wash, dry and sort family laundry.
• Preparing healthy, home-cooked meals and snacks, including batch cooking.
• Running occasional errands and picking up groceries.
• Helping parents with general housekeeping duties (main clean is undertaken by cleaners).
The two older children attend a local school within walking distance (walk to and from without supervision). They enjoy a variety of clubs which generally take place at school or in the evening with mum and dad overseeing.
You will need to be Ofsted registered (or due qualifications to be registered – family to cover the cost of registration).
This is a truly lovely role, ideal for a nanny who enjoys being part of a friendly, supportive family environment. We placed the last nanny in this role, and she has spent a very happy three years with the family.

Driving required: Yes, with own fully insured car and clean licence. Duty mileage to be reimbursed
Job Start Date: August 2025
Job End Date: August 2026
Pay: £39,250 gross per annum / mutually agreed overtime to be paid at £17 gross per hour
