Contract: Fixed term contract up to 12 months.
As a Supporter Engagement Advisor, you’ll be the warm, knowledgeable first point of contact for our supporters and the public. From heartfelt phone conversations to engaging emails, you’ll deliver exceptional experiences that inspire people to support our mission and feel part of a truly meaningful cause.
You’ll be joining a close-knit team of passionate Supporter Engagement Advisors who all work remotely across the UK. Despite the distance, we stay connected every day — supporting one another, sharing knowledge, and celebrating wins together. You’ll enjoy the independence of remote work, while still feeling part of a friendly team that values collaboration, open communication and mutual support.
What You’ll Do
1. Be the first friendly voice for supporters contacting Alzheimer’s Society through phone and email.
2. Provide genuine, compassionate guidance — thanking, inspiring and supporting every caller
3. Process donations and updating supporter records with accuracy and care
4. Strengthen relationships by delivering exceptional stewardship and engagement
5. Collaborate with colleagues across the Society, sharing insights that help improve the supporter journey
6. Champion best practice in data protection, GDPR, Gift Aid and safeguarding
7. Continually look for ways to improve our processes and enhance supporter experiences
Who We’re Looking For
8. A natural communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
9. Passionate about helping others, with a genuine desire to make a difference
10. Experienced in customer service, ideally in a contact centre or retail environment
11. Calm, confident and solution-focused, even when handling complaints or complex queries
12. Organised and detail-driven, able to manage workloads and meet targets
13. A team player who supports colleagues and embraces continuous learning
14. Tech savvy, comfortable working across multiple systems, CRM’s and databases
