Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Manager working in Aylesbury and beyond, with option to travel within the UK. A recent graduate or school leaver would be welcomed with the right attitide and drive. The candidate will support the operations of our residential and commercial properties alongside our experienced Managing Director. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional service to our clients and customers. This role requires a proactive approach to managing property-related tasks and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Our business is focussed on the block management sector and is not a letting or sales business. We would however invite candidates who are interested in transferring from sales or lettings to consider an application.
Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day operations of properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with regulations.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly with clear and consistent communication.
* Conduct regular property inspections to assess maintenance needs and ensure adherence to safety standards.
* Develop understanding of leasehold agreements and law, and the interplay between landlord and tenant.
* Utilise MRI software for record keeping, tracking maintenance processes, and managing financial records.
* Implement effective planning and organisational skills to forward plan works and ensure problems are resolved before they occur.
* Maintain accurate administrative records and documentation related to property management activities.
* Exhibit professional phone and email etiquette when communicating with customers and clients.
Experience
* Previous office experience in property management or a related field is preferred however attitude and drive is vital to learn if you are a new school leaver or recent graduate.
* Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records or transferable skills to example accuracy and upheld standards.
* Proven administrative experience demonstrating organisational abilities in a fast-paced environment or equivalent examples.
* Familiarity with MRI or similar property management software is advantageous although full training will be provided.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on professionalism in phone interactions.
