About the role
We are seeking an Earthmoving machinery Workshop Manager / Leading Hand, or someone mechanically minded to take on the role of overseeing the daily operations of our workshop. This role will operate on a full-time basis working five days a week.
Responsibilities
* Schedule workshop staff to guarantee maximum efficiency and ensure customers receive high quality communication and service.
* Manage a workshop team of approximately 4–5 full time mechanics and apprentices.
* Ensure facilities are maintained to a high standard.
* Carry out and manage workshop administration duties including processing of sales/purchase orders, invoicing, branch reporting requirements and warranty claims.
* Conduct end of service/repair quality checks.
* Assist with other duties as required.
About You
* Have the ability to reliably work at minimum 7:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
* Ability to thrive and handle pressure in a busy environment.
* Team leadership and management skills.
Advantageous
* Experience working with hydraulic, electric and mechanical equipment such as earthmoving equipment.
