Senior Support Worker
Location: Alnwick

Salary: £31,537 – £34,434 Band 6 plus shift and weekend enhancement (approximately £3,237.30‑£3,534.30 per year based on a 37‑hour contract).
Working Hours
37 hours per week, shift pattern 7.45am – 10.30pm with alternative weekends and some bank holidays. Includes early and late shifts, sleep‑over duties, and a sleep‑in allowance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support to six young people aged 6‑17 in a 4‑bed house and two one‑bed multi‑home properties. Work under a shift pattern that includes early and late shifts with sleep‑over duties. Deliver care and support within a family‑focussed environment, addressing emotional, social and educational needs. Work under managerial direction to ensure quality, safe and effective care. Undertake relevant training, including the Level 4 Diploma in Children, Young People and Family Practitioners.
Required Qualifications
Good general education.
Willing and able to undertake relevant training.
Completion of (or willingness to complete) the Level 4 Diploma in Children, Young People and Family Practitioners.
DBS Enhanced Disclosure.
