Long Term Futures are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in DE22. This is a 1:1 SEND teaching assistant role in a KS2 setting, ideal for someone with experience supporting pupils with behavioural challenges and complex needs.
Responsibilities
Your Role:
Provide tailored 1:1 support to pupils with SEND needs
Help pupils access the curriculum through personalised strategies
Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and resilience
Support the class teacher with interventions and daily routines
Requirements
We\'re Looking For:
Experience as a teaching assistant, teacher assistant, or learning support assistant
Confidence managing challenging behaviour in a KS2 setting
Calm, adaptable, and nurturing approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Passion for inclusive education and helping pupils thrive
