Our client, a leading supplier of green gas and electricity, are looking for a Metering Operations Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in helping customers resolve smart meter issues, addressing billing queries, and analysing energy data to ensure accuracy. Key responsibilities:
1. Assist customers and industry stakeholders over the phone
2. Manage queries related to smart meters, energy consumption, and billing concerns.
3. Extract, manipulate, and validate energy data to produce accurate reports.
4. Analyse and interpret industry-specific data flows to identify trends or errors.
5. Apply analytical skills to diagnose and explain underlying issues and trends.
Skills and experience required:
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for customers.
7. Energy/utilities experience highly desirable
8. Strong customer service skills—empathetic, proactive, and solution-focused.
9. Intermediate Excel skills
10. Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify errors and opportunities for improvement.
11. Ability to work independently, with a willingness to seek guidance when needed.
12. Energy industry experience - desirable
