Who We Are Looking For:

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of how to leverage social platforms to amplify messages, drive engagement, and ensure consistent brand representation.
Project Brief:
Age UK Wandsworth would like to enhance their online presence and improve how they engage key audiences through their primary channels, Instagram and LinkedIn. They would like a Skilled Volunteer to help them develop a social media strategy, to enable them to be more intentional and consistent with their digital communications.
This project will include:
* Analysing their key audiences to better understand who they are, what content resonates, and how to effectively engage them on across their platforms.
* Developing a tailored social media strategy that includes key messaging, content pillars, and a consistent tone of voice aligned with the organisation’s goals.
* Supporting content creation and scheduling by helping staff use branded templates in Canva and efficiently manage posting through Buffer.
* Establishing systems to track performance and provide guidance on how to measure impact and continuously improve content beyond the duration of the project.
This project will enable Age UK Wandsworth to expand their reach, build a stronger digital presence, and better communicate their vital services to older people and the wider community.
Who You’ll Be Supporting:
Age UK Wandsworth is a local, self-sustaining, independent charity passionately committed to supporting older people in the London Borough of Wandsworth. They are separate from Age UK, the national charity. They strive to be a trusted resource for older people, their families, and carers.
Time Commitment
24 hours flexibly over 2 months. All Link UP London Skilled Volunteering Projects are designed to work flexibly around the schedule of the Skilled Volunteer.
