Responsibilities
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.
* Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices.
* Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences.
* Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate food service and ensure an exceptional dining experience for guests.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
* Monitor food presentation and portion control to maintain consistency across all dishes served.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising kitchen staff.
* Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
* Culinary qualifications or certifications are highly desirable.
* Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
