Swansea Bay University Health Board are seeking an Associate Member - Inclusion and Belonging to join their Board.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with a strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) to help shape our strategic direction and build on our strategic equality plan 'We All Belong' ensuring that inclusion is embedded in everything we do in our Health Board."
About the role
This is non-voting role and you will:
Act as a critical friend to the Board on matters of inclusion and belonging
Contribute to strategic discussions and decision-making
Help challenge assumptions and bring fresh perspectives
Support the development of inclusive policies and practices
Champion the voices of underrepresented communities
Who they're looking for
You may already have board level experience or alternatively you may be looking for an opportunity to gain some board level experience and have the potential and drive to be a future Independent Member. Either way you will be able to demonstrate:
A strong understanding of and commitment to inclusion, equity, and belonging
The ability to think strategically and contribute to high-level discussions
Confidence to challenge constructively and offer new ideas
Lived experience or professional expertise in EDI-related work
A collaborative and values-driven approach
They particularly encourage applications from people from underrepresented backgrounds in governance and leadership.

Involve has a variety of schemes that engage people in need in Swansea.
