Employment Type - Full-Time, Permanent
Salary - £38,000 - £42,000+ market leading benefits

Responsibilities
* Procuring components for UK manufacturing operations and spare parts as required
* Expediting purchase orders to ensure timely delivery
* Managing relationships with suppliers/vendors and negotiating contracts
* Working closely with the other procurement & supply chain teams within the business to meet company objectives - UK and internationally
* Handling any supply chain issues promptly and professionally
* Participating in process improvement initiatives
* Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
Qualifications and Candidate Experience
* Technical Buyer with experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Ability to read technical engineering drawings
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A confident negotiator
* Good level of IT skills, including Microsoft Office
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to show initiative and take ownership of a situation
* Project management experience would be advantageous but not essential
