About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and highly organised individual to join the charity as an Operations and Compliance Coordinator.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting both day-to-day operational delivery and compliance/governance processes, helping to ensure the organisation meets its regulatory requirements while providing an excellent internal service.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Support
5. Provide comprehensive administrative support across the organisation
6. Support the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, contracts, changes, and leavers
7. Maintain accurate systems, records, and documentation
8. Assist with recruitment administration and onboarding processes
9. Coordinate internal processes to support efficient service delivery
Compliance & Governance
10. Support compliance activities to ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements
11. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute key documentation
12. Take minutes and track actions to completion
13. Maintain governance records, policies, and compliance logs
14. Assist with audits and reporting requirements
Data & Systems
15. Produce reports relating to HR, operations, and compliance metrics
16. Ensure all data is handled in line with GDPR and confidentiality requirements
17. Maintain and update internal systems, databases, and records
18. Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains
Board & Executive Support
19. Provide high-quality administrative support to the Executive Team and Board of Trustees
20. Coordinate Board and committee meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and documentation
21. Prepare and distribute agendas, board packs, and papers in a timely manner
22. Take professional minutes and track actions to completion
23. Support governance processes, ensuring decisions and actions are properly recorded
24. Act as a key liaison between senior stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication
About You
25. Previous experience in operations, compliance, or administration
26. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
27. Experience working with confidential information
28. Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across teams
29. Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems
30. Self-motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities
