The Role:
We are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil. This is a full-time, long-term role, ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 support to a child with SEND in Year 4.
* Assist with learning activities, ensuring the pupil can access the curriculum.
* Support the development of independence, social skills, and confidence.
* Maintain accurate records and provide feedback to teachers and SEND coordinators.
* Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.
Person Specification:
* Experience supporting children with SEND, ideally in a 1:1 capacity.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting learning.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other support staff.
* Flexible, reliable, and committed to long-term support.
