We are looking for a reliable, proactive and detail-oriented Office Support Assistant to help keep our workplace tidy, welcoming and well-organised. This is a hands-on support role covering general office upkeep, cleaning, supplies management, and day-to-day practical tasks that keep the office running smoothly.
Job Details
Location: Office-based (Fleet, Hampshire)
Hours: 8 hours per week (including approx. 2 hours outside normal office hours)
Reporting to: Office/Facilities Manager
Salary: £15 Per Hour
Key Responsibilities
* Cleaning and General Upkeep
o Hoover and maintain cleanliness of office, meeting rooms and common areas
o Wipe desks, surfaces, and whiteboards regularly
o Clean kitchen areas (worktops, sink, floors)
o Clean toilets (including sinks, mirrors, floors, and consumables checks)
o Maintain shower facilities where applicable
o Remove cobwebs and keep all areas presentable
o Clean internal windows periodically
o Empty rubbish, recycling, and confidential waste bins
* Kitchen and Facilities Support
o Refresh supplies (milk, tea/coffee, guest items)
o Load/unload and occasionally deep clean the dishwasher
o Clean microwaves, kettles (including descaling), and cupboards
o Ensure kitchen remains clean, stocked, and welcoming
* Office Supplies and Stock Management
o Monitor and replenish stationery supplies, kitchen consumables, toiletries (soap, toilet roll, etc.)
o Place orders and manage deliveries
o Restock supplies across the office
o Check plant health, water/feed, and arrange replacements if needed
* General Office Tasks
o Handle incoming/outgoing post
o Keep signing-in sheets and reception area organised
o Support with basic facilities checks (e.g. fire alarm test coordination)
o Arrange confidential waste collections
o Assist with general ad-hoc tasks as needed
We are keen to hear from candidates who are organised, self‑motivated, and take pride in maintaining high standards. You’ll be trustworthy, dependable, and comfortable working independently, with a strong attention to detail and a friendly, approachable attitude. Previous experience in office cleaning, housekeeping, or facilities support would be an advantage, although full training can be provided for the right candidate.
