What you will do Work in line with UPM safety standards and environmental policies, helping to maintain a safe and responsible workplace Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to corrective maintenance needs Troubleshoot plant and equipment issues and support timely resolution Support equipment refurbishment activities to extend operational life and performance Take part in the site-wide Emergency Response Team following training Maximise availability and reliability of our production process and CHP plant Work a shift pattern comprising of two 12-hour dayshifts (6am to 6pm), two 12-hour nightshifts (6pm to 6am) and six rest days. Cover for absence and holidays will be required as part of the shift pattern Who You Are You must have served a recognised apprenticeship in a Mechanical discipline, be qualified to HNC level and have experience in a manufacturing environment. You will be an analytical troubleshooter able to fault find, maintain and repair plant and equipment associated with a continuous industrial process. You should be able to work safely, be self-motivated, have good communication skills, be a team player but also able to work on your own initiative while having the commitment and organisational skills to manage your responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
