Key Responsibilities
* Managing admissions and discharges
* Planning the nursing staff roster
* Supervising and guiding other nurses and carers in their work
* Monitoring patients, administering medication following company policy and reporting patients’ condition to doctors
* Maintaining inventories of medical supplies and medicines
* Mentoring and training new staff, providing support and guidance to all staff members
Qualifications
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a current active NMC Pin.
Preferred Skills and Experience
* The ability to lead and motivate others.
* A genuine interest in quality service delivery and development.
* The ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
* Numeracy and evidence of analytical ability.
* Experience working in inpatient mental health settings.
* Experience in completing audits.
* Must be self‑motivated with good communication skills and leadership experience.
Salary & Benefits
£43,014 – £46,314 per annum (permanent full‑time, 37.5 hours per week).
