Delivery Driver - Bristol, Job Ref: 11764
We are looking to recruit a 6-hour Prescription Delivery Driver on a permanent contract to work between at our 775-branch located at 8 Eastland Road, Thornbury, Bristol, BS35 1DS. Working hours are Tuesday 14:00-17:00 and Friday 14:00-17:00.
Responsibilities
- Promptly and conscientiously deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes while providing a high standard of customer service.
- Plan and print daily routes using the branch computer system before setting off.
- Submit mileage claims with receipts weekly; mileage reimbursement is 42p per mile up to 10,000 miles, then 25p per mile thereafter as per HMRC guidelines.
- Assist with PR exercises to increase business.
- Maintain a friendly professional image and act as an ambassador for the Cohens brand.
- Follow regulated procedures to ensure prescription items are delivered correctly.
Requirements
- Personal vehicle suitable for business use, with insurance covering business use; applicant must provide evidence of increased premium if applicable.
- Basic computer skills to plan routes.
- Flexible, great people skills, able to work under pressure to meet delivery times.
- Subject to a DBS check as part of recruitment.
