Experienced Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work within a variety of welcoming and supportive schools across Bath from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact within the classroom. The role will involve working closely with teachers to provide academic, emotional and behavioural support to pupils across a range of age groups and abilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities
* Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
* Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
* Helping to create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
* Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a school setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
* Experience supporting SEN pupils is desirable
* A genuine passion for working with children and supporting education
* Relevant qualifications are advantageous but not essential
