Recruit4staff are representing a well-established engineering company in their search for a Fabricator Welder to work in Skelmersdale.
Job Role: Fabricator Welders are responsible for fabricating a range of steel products in a workshop setting. This includes working from engineering drawings, fabricating mild steel, stainless steel and structural steel components, and performing MIG welding. The role also involves making tanks, vessels, and structural components while maintaining high-quality standards and accurate work records.
Job Details:
1. Pay: Up to £18.50 per hour (Negotiable depending on experience)
2. Hours of Work: 7am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 7am-12:00 Friday
3. Duration: Temp to Perm
4. Overtime Rules: x1.5 in the week and on Saturday, x2 on Sunday
Essential Skills & Experience:
5. Fabrication of steel components
6. Working from engineering/technical drawings
7. MIG & TIG welding
8. Experience working with mild steel, stainless and structural steel
9. Experience making tanks and vessels
Desired Skills & Experience:
10. Working with carbon & stainless pipework
11. Pipefitting & pipe welding experience
12. TIG welding
13. Previous experience working as a coded welder
Desired Qualifications:
14. NVQ/C&G in Fabrication and Welding or equivalent
15. Driving Licence
16. Coded in MIG welding
17. Coded in TIG welding
18. CSCS/CCNSG Card
