Change Accountancy and Finance are partnering with a fast growing Edinburgh-based business for the recruitment of a Management Accountant to join their team. This is a brilliant opportunity for a QBE, part-qualified or recently qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA), with strong hands on experience in month-end and account preparation tasks.
Reporting to one of the Finance Manager, responsibilities will include:
* Preparation of budgets and cash flow
* Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
* Assisting with year-end statutory accounts preparation
* VAT returns
* Liaising with external auditors
* Partnering with European stakeholders
* Ad hoc tasks
Requirements for the role:
* ACCA, ACA, CIMA part- or recently qualified- QBE can also be considered
* Previous experience in an assistant/management accountant role
* Strong interpersonal skills
* IT and finance system experience (including Excel)
Salary offered between £40-45k per annum, DOE plus benefits. Hybrid working week.
