Geotechnical Leaders – Shape the Next Generation of Offshore Energy Engineering
A leading international engineering and project managementpany at the forefront of infrastructure and energy transformation is seeking to appoint a Principal, Associate or Chief Geotechnical Engineer to join its growing Offshore Geotechnical practice.
This role offers the opportunity to sit at the forefront of the industry—leadingplex, high‑value projects, providing authoritative technical review, and raising capability across the wider engineeringmunity through deep specialist knowledge.
The successful candidate will take on an influential leadership position within the Geotechnical business, which sits at the heart of the organisation’s technical strength. As client demands continue to evolve, this role will be instrumental in pushing the boundaries of offshore geotechnical design and advanced modelling.
The Role
1. Provide technical leadership onplex geotechnical and seismic design projects.
2. Act as a senior technical authority, delivering independent review, assurance and challenge.
3. Lead and mentor numerical modelling teams using advanced software tools.
4. Support and upskill engineers across the business in advanced geotechnical principles.
5. Drive innovation in digital delivery and advanced analysis methods.
6. Collaborate within multidisciplinary project teams and engage confidently with clients.
The Candidate
7. Holds a strong academic background in engineering, ideally supported by an or PhD.
8. Chartered Engineer status in the UK is essential.
9. Demonstrates significant experience in geotechnical and seismic analysis and design.
10. Has led numerical modelling teams using advanced software.
11. Possesses a detailed understanding of advanced soil constitutive models, parameter selection and model calibration.
12. Experienced in validation and management ofplex numerical analyses within multidisciplinary environments.
13. Brings a strong appetite for digital innovation and technical advancement.
14. Produces and reviews high‑quality technical reports to exemplary standards.
15. Willing to travel on short assignments in the UK and overseas and hold a valid UK driving licence.
