Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role, located in Andover, for a Highway Maintenance Worker. The Highway Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain and repair the highway network. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting roads, performing routine maintenance, repairing damages, managing traffic controls, and operating maintenance equipment. The role requires adherence to safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe environment for all road users.
Qualifications
* Experience in road inspection, maintenance, and repair
* Proficiency in managing traffic controls and operating maintenance equipment
* Knowledge of safety standards and protocols
* Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
* Ability to work in various weather conditions and adaptable to different work environments
* Valid driver's license
* Experience in highway or construction work is a plus
* High school diploma or equivalent qualification
