We are seeking an exceptional and proven Business Development Manager to join and shape our growing Commercial Solar team. This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in building and shaping a high-growth business unit within an established, purpose-driven organisation.
As a key member of the team, you will:
* Drive new business development with commercial B2B clients across the UK.
* Work with our Impact Partners to connect their clients to solar opportunities.
* Leverage your industry network and knowledge of commercial solar to generate and close high-value opportunities.
* Shape our go-to-market strategy and help us scale from the foundations of 3MW delivered to a material market presence.
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients, combining commercial acumen with technical understanding.
* Work entrepreneurially—owning your pipeline, targets, and outcomes with the support of a passionate and expert team.
* Help shape innovative and market changing financing models
What We’re Looking For
* A proven track record of B2B solar sales success, ideally in commercial-scale projects.
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to create compelling business cases for clients.
* Entrepreneurial drive, self-starter mentality, and resilience to thrive in a growth-focused environment.
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with a consultative approach to selling.
* Ideally based in the South East or Midlands, with flexibility to travel nationwide.
