We are looking to recruit a Health Care Support Worker to join our Crisis and Home Treatment Resolution team. We are a well-established community mental health team. The community mental health team works with people experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties, supporting them through their recovery journey.
The role of the support worker is to be part of and complement the community mental health multidisciplinary team in delivering interventions and support to promote recovery. The role is varied, with opportunities for staff to develop skills in supporting therapeutic interventions under the supervision of experienced senior mental health practitioners. The team includes experienced support workers, with whom the successful applicant will work.
Responsibilities include supporting senior practitioners to deliver responsive and effective care during assessment and treatment for a caseload of individuals with moderate to severe mental health difficulties. The role involves working compassionately and non-judgmentally with individuals in their own homes, in the community, and in health settings. Accurate recording of contacts in clinical notes and supporting administrative tasks are also required.
